 on science, innovation and technology. This could include the development and coordination of a High-Level Oversight Board on Science, Technology and Innovation to promote coherence of cross-UK Government research and innovation investment in West African

 across DFID’s research investment across West Africa. The Adviser will have an important role in identifying and building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and working with cross-UK Government teams to ensure these new agendas are appropriately
 positioned within existing strategic frameworks within country offices in West Africa.

 drawing on evidence and lessons on accelerating the scale-up of innovative technologies in West Africa.
