Many thanks, Effah, for the recap.Everything was covered superbly. The only thing missing seems to be the links for the AfricaConnect3 and WACREN sites, as well as that for the upcoming workshop. I will discuss with Dr Atah on the support to NgREN and revert to you, as quickly as possible.
I'm pretty certain, though, that we'll get a go-ahead.Have a lovely evening.

First, thank you all once again for attending and contributing to the
discussion during the meeting.
A few meeting notes below:
1. WACREN Support for NRENs
Effah shared details of the support. That it's in line with activities
under AfricaConnect3 - https://africaconnect3.net, the project being
implemented by WACREN in the region. The project requires WACREN to
support at least 2 NRENs per year, until 2023.
WACREN advanced discussions with GARNET, NgREN and Eko-Konnect. Owing to
the pandemic, priorities changed so the activity was not delivered.
NRENs who showed interest last year can access the support - advisory,
resource sharing, technical and capacity building.
Effah emphasised that the support is not paid-for by NRENs; it's for
free. Also, WACREN will not be in charge of NRENs tools or resources,
except requested by the NRENs. WACREN's support is purely advising and
assistance.
All NRENs are at liberty to show interest in the support.
2. Marcomms workshop at WACREN 2021
Effah announced that there will be a marcomms workshop for all NRENs in
the region and beyond. Workshop agenda and other details will be shared
soon. Facilitators are being invited from Africa and other parts of the
World.
3. WACREN 2021 comms update
Effah announced that registration will be opened soon (this week). He
urged all members to disseminate the mails and other visuals that will
be shared to create visibility for the Conference.
Effah urged all members to actively participate in discussions on
WhatsApp and mailing list, as there are going to be more activities in
the coming days.
3 NRENs attended the meeting - RerBenin, Eko-Konnect and NgREN.
Action points:
1. Effah will share Conference update with members for onward
dissemination
2. Effah to share details on Marcomms Workshop with all
3. Effah to revive discussions on comms support with all NRENs who have
shown interest.
If I left anything out, please mention.
Thanks
