* Workshop on joining eduroam and Identity Federation *
ASREN (the Arab States Research and Education Network) in cooperation with
German Jordanian University, MAGIC Project and EUMEDCONENCT3 Project will
conduct a workshop dedicated for staff of NRENs and Universities on
eduroam, Federated Access and eduGAIN.

*MAGIC, TANDEM and SciGaIA will share a stand and a network session in
ICT2015*

Organized by the European Commission together with the Fundação para a
Ciência e a Tecnologia (Foundation for Science and Technology) ICT2015 will
be held in Lisbon (Portugal) from October 20 to 22nd, and the three H2020
projects will join forces to demonstrate their collaborative power.

* Latin America believes in MAGIC! *
>From July 6 to 8 RedCLARA and the National Research and Education Network
of Chile, REUNA (both MAGIC members), carried out the fifth edition of the
TICAL Conference, which is targeted to the ICT directors of the Latin
American Universities, and MAGIC was part of it!

* MAGIC project held a training session in NRENum.net and a panel of
federations and eduroam services after TICAL2015 *
Both activities were open to all the TICAL2015 Conference participants and
developed right after TICAL closing on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, in the
Hotel, Casino & Event Center Enjoy, in the city of Viña del Mar, Chile.

*MAGIC Project lifted off *
June 11 will be remember in the advanced networks and collaborative
projects environment as the MAGIC day, because it was there and in the
facilities of the French NREN, RENATER, that the project was kicked-off.

* Pioneer in the use of Colaboratorio, RENATA is already harvesting the
benefits of the service *
Exactly 9 months ago, RedCLARA announced the launch of the new version of
its collaboration portal: Colaboratorio, a space created in the framework
of the ELCIRA project to support and promote scientific and academic
collaboration within Latin America and with Europe. Now, when MAGIC is
building on top of the ELCIRA experience, just a few months after that
moment, with the service running smoothly, it can be said that the
Colombian NREN, RENATA, took good advantage of the tool.
