 Colleagues,I write on
 behalf of the Interim Steering Committee of the Sierra Leone
 Research and Education Network
 (SLREN) to invite to the SLREN 2016
 Conference. 
 
 The conference
 will take place on 28-29 July, 2016
 at the Njala University Conference Centre, Njala
 Campus, Sierra
 Leone, starting each day at 10:00am
 prompt. 
 
 The SLREN 2016 Conference
 will bring together
 policy and decision makers, development partners, academics
 and researchers,
 Information/Library professionals, IT Experts and
 collaboration
 specialists from across Sierra Leone, West Africa and
 Europe. The aim
 of the conference is to discuss the status of SLREN
 establishment and the ongoing
 activities for the provision of advanced information and
 communication
 technology (ICT) services to the higher education and
 research community in Sierra
 Leone. 
 
 The main
 theme of the conference is: "Achieving
 Quality Education through Advanced Information
 and Communication Technology (ICT) Services”, with the
 following sub-themes:
 
 
  The Role and Status of
 National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) in
 AfricaUN
 Sustainable Development Goals and implications for Quality
 Education in Sierra Leonee-Readiness Assessment of
