Chers Collegues,

La reunion AfREN de cette annee se tiendra a Dakar le 7 mai 2018 comme un
des evenements du Sommet Africain de l'Internet 2018 (AIS 2018).

La reunion demarrera a 11h au Radisson Blu Dakar (Salle Etienne Victor),
apres la ceremonie d'ouverture d'AIS 2018 et la pause cafe.

Le programme provisoire inclut:

1. Informations recentes des reseaux regionaux;

2. Blockchain;

3. Internet des Objets (IoT);

4. LIBSENSE (bibliotheques, reseaux d'education et de recherche et
infrastructures numeriques);

5. Federations d'identite et confederation eduroam en Afrique (roaming
academique).

Si vous etes a Dakar, vous etes invites a vous joindre a nous a AfREN 2018.

Dear Colleagues,

This year's AfREN meeting will be held in Dakar on 7 May 2018 as part of
the Africa Internet Summit 2018 (AIS 2018).

The meeting will start at 11:00am at Radisson Blu Dakar (Room Etienne
Victor), after the AIS 2018 Opening Ceremony and the coffee break.

The tentative agenda includes presentations on:

1. Regional REN updates;

2.  Blockchain;

3. Internet of Things (IoT);

4. LIBSENSE (Library Support for embedding NREN Services and
e-Infrastructure);

5. NREN Identity Federations and eduroam Confederation in Africa.

If you are in Dakar at AIS 2018, you are invited to join us at AfREN 2018.

Please register at https://indico.wacren.net/event/67/where you will also
find the tentative agenda.

We also recommend that you resister for AIS 2018 (
https://www.internetsummit.africa/), especially if you want to attend other
AIS 2018 meetings.
